Yo it's Niko from the night show.  Yes I'm Greek, and no I'm not hairy.  My job has to be the coolest in the world!!  I get paid to have fun on the radio.  My official title is producer, sidekick, overnight guy, and almost forgot JACKASS.  Working with Romeo is cool because we make song parodies and mess with callers all night, well maybe just a few callers hahaha.  If anyone was curious I grew up in Detroit, yup 8 mile is real (it's just a road nothing cool about it).  Working in New York is like Detroit after a six pack of Red Bull, everything's crazy here and I love it.  I always do broadcasts from concerts and random places, so if you ever see me out don't be shy I love putting listeners on the air.  Some of my interests are dj'ing, riding my motorcycle, snowboarding, playing video games, and random acts of stupidity!!  That's about everything exciting about me, so if you ever want to get a hold of me here's the info.  Lata kiddies.

Trying to think of a cool opening line is hard.  So I’ll kick it off like this…

Hello Z100 listeners!  My name is Chris and I’m that guy answering your calls during Romeo’s Show.  I’m also that guy who quickly shouts a number at you during contests – so don’t be scared.  My job here is pretty much the coolest thing to ever happen to me – so far.  Oh, and if I keep you on the phone asking you a bunch of weird questions, don’t worry; I’m not crazy, I’m just looking for someone new to talk to so I don’t have to listen to Romeo’s lame jokes.

Now, a little about me:
I was born and raised in Staten Island.  I went to Catholic school my whole life and blah, blah, blah.  Since my freshman year of high school, I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry.  The only logical move was to be a theater geek (I have some of the greatest memories during that time, so don’t knock it).  Once I graduated high school, I felt completely clueless.   “Who am I?”  “What’s my purpose?” were my thoughts (Ok, maybe it wasn’t that dramatic, but still.)  After bouncing around a few colleges, I found an ad floating around my current college for on-air spots at the radio station.  I quickly signed up to host my own pop show.

I eventually started browsing z100.com for internship opportunities.  I got my start at Z100 as an intern for Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo.  Eventually, I became an employee, answering phones on the weekends for Niko, Joe Rosati, and Jagger.  I couldn’t be happier to have my foot in the door with one of the biggest radio stations in the country.  Major props to David Brody and Romeo.

I like to laugh, joke and just have a good time, so give me a call!  You never know – you could be a guest ZJ on Romeo’s Interactive 9 at 9!
